Then we walked to Jackson Square and visited the Cathedral, and the Farmer's market.

We ate lunch at Laundry's- yummy seafood.
Then off to San Antonio, TX. We wanted to see the River Walk and the Alamo.
We are at the Alamo! Minh remembers it being a LOT bigger when he was in middle school. It is very small but it is a nice to walk through.
You will see another picture of the Alamo that has a tall building in the background- that was our hotel. Very nice, the top reminder us of the Tribune towers back in Chicago.
The night picture is of our restaurant we went to the first night- Casa Rio. It was beautiful sitting next to the river at night over looking the lights and watching the river tour going by. The next morning we took the River Boat Tour. Many of these pictures are from that tour.
Not sure why I took pictures of a duck but I did.
The umbrellas were of the restaurant we ate at Casa Rio from the other side of the river during the day. We learned on the tour that Casa Rio was the first restaurant to open on the river. They were so popular that they started the river boat tour to "entertain" their customers until their table was ready. A few years ago they sold the boat tour to the only company that runs it now. Cool!
