Yesterday the boys turned 8 months old. Wow how time flies. They are experts at sitting up and eating solid food (mushy ones- at least).
Chris FINALLY has 2 bottom teeth and is a wonderful "dancer" (his body rocks while sitting) and claps very often. He loves the song "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree." Chris is very close to crawling. He doesn't like laying on his back any more (see pictures below). He spends half the day up on his knees and hands rocking back and forth looking ready but hasn't quite figured out how to reach and move his legs at the same time.
James has 4 teeth now and loves to flip over from front to back very fast. He claps but his left hand looks more like it is beating his right hand, so he still has some work to do on that. James is not really interested in crawling much- he looks more like a beached whale at times.
We believe James still weights more than Chris but Chris is taller by at least an inch. We will go to the doctor next month for our check up and we will get the official numbers then. We are looking forward to Christmas this year, so much to be thankful for. The boys have been practicing how to rip and eat wrapping paper. I have a feeling they will be EXPERTS by noon on Christmas day.
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas! Hope Santa is good to all.
We would like to thank Aunt Phillis for these cute monster overalls and our WONDERFUL stockings for Santa to fill.
