Day 6 Wednesday, July 7th
This was our first full day in downtown Chicago and we had a lot of things to see and do. First thing was to ride the CTA train from Grand station to Belmont Ave (our old stomping ground) to meet Pam for brunch at Ann Sathers. Yummy cinnamon rolls! Then we walked to our townhouse to see what the new neighbors have done with the place. We saw Ed, our next door neighbor, the one who had the beagles. He had to give the dogs away because he traveled too much. It was great to see him. Then we walked to Lakeshore Dr to catch the bus. The boys fell asleep on the walk which was good because the bus took forever. They enjoyed the bus ride to Lincoln Park Zoo once they woke up. The zoo was very hot so we hit the highlights then headed back on a bus to Michigan Ave where we walked to our hotel for nap time. Later that night we walked to dinner where we met Ann Marie & Larry. We forgot to get pictures of them.
