19m

The boys are 19m old today. They are talking quite a bit, starting to repeat some words you say in conversation. James still enjoys giving kisses and Chris likes being the "copy-cat." They are really into books. I was joking with a friend the other day about this. It is suggested that you read 15 mins. with your child everyday. If only that was ALL I had to read in a given day it would be great! They are into Cars the movie, music, and Elmo and Sesame Street. Chris' newest word is hat and he pats his head. He like to wear Minh's hats around the house. James favorite words is "WOW" and there is SUCH expression there! He is very dramatic while Chris is very stubborn and strong willed. Not sure where he got that from! But at the end of the day they are both very happy and loving kids who laugh and smile and give kisses and hugs. They love going to a playground and climbing around. They also like playing in the leaves and moving the rocks we have in the back. We have a bridge over our creek in the back yard and they "discovered" it for the first time this month. They love throwing small rocks and leaves in to it. The funny thing is they always point to the water on one side of the bridge and then go look for more on the other side and are surprised ("WOW"-d as James would say) that water is on that side as well. It is fun learning to look at life through their eyes. Another funny thing, when we are outside and they hear a bird or dog they say "bird" or "dog" (their versions of course) and point to their ears. It always takes me a moment to get the whole thought they are trying to tell me. But then I remember and say "I hear a bird too" and they are so happy I hear it too! Funny little creatures...... at a fun age....
