On Christmas morning my parents and Dramma came over early to watch the boys come down and see what Santa brought. They hid so that the boys would not be distracted. After they saw some of their gifts from Santa, they found Dramma hiding in the playroom and MeMe and Gramps in the hallway. Then the morning began...
There was playing with the kitchen, riding the little big wheels, shaking and racing the 'Cars' cars on the kitchen floor, eating a picnic breakfast with everyone in the living room, opening up their stockings and seeing what everyone else received. Then we began opening packages. They were not into actually ripping the wrapping paper, they just went from person to person looking at the gifts. Then we would have to open up everything they received and play with it for a bit then keep moving on. As you can see they received a drum set from my cousin Ashley. We are no longer speaking to him! There is also video of the boys playing the drum and I hope to upload it here soon. But we are STILL not talking to THAT cousin!
When the boys went down for their nap, I learned how to cook a turkey with my Dad. It also began snowing- the first white Christmas in Atlanta in over 100 years- it was very pretty.
Dinner was great! And so was the day. Many memories and blessings were made and celebrated that day!
