Chris and James are starting to call each other by name, not just "broder" (aka brother). When Chris is asked his name he says "Chrisher" (aka Christopher). James is very clear with "James" or me. I have also heard James call Minh, "Minh" after I have called out Minh when I have been looking for him. I use to call my mother Kathy in stores when I was little and she always told me it made her feel like a step-mom. I now ''get it."
Chris is counting.. "1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!" And when I type exclamation I mean HIGH pitched exclamation! He has counted up to 13 but usually 10 is his max. His favorite color is orange and he will TELL you everything he sees that is orange and I mean every tiny bit of orange within a mile of him.
James leans more towards green and blue but really has very little time to have an emotional tie to a color. He is usually found playing cars, trains or listing out ALL the Mickey Mouse, CARS, or Sesame Street characters and that is when his EMOTION comes out. He is very proud he knows them all.
The Cars movie books are their favorite as well as Mickey Mouse and the Beanstalk. They like the Goofy songs and the Hot Dog Dance too. When the Hot Dog Dance comes on at the end of the show, James always says "Come-on Cis" to invite him to come dance with him. Chris then replies "No Hot Dog Dance" because he knows this means the show is coming to an end.
