A few weeks, if not a month or so ago, we tried to potty train the boys. After about 3 hours, we ran out of underwear and ditched that idea!
Recently we have been talking about it again and the boys seem to be more open to it. One of their friend's mother is having a baby any day now and I had mentioned that we could switch to big boy underwear and give our diapers to Baby Claire and guess what it stuck! Chris woke up this morning wanting to wear his underwear and give the diapers to baby Claire. James followed suit.
We kept at it all day long and over all they did a great job.
We are rewarding the boys with a sticker chart and Skittles! Here is a picture of the charts after the first day. Chris' chart is on the left (yes that is 20 stickers!) Chris can pee on demand and do it every 5-8 minutes or whenever he wants "candy." James' chart is on the left and it actually is better than it looks. He can hold his pee for 30 -45 mins. easily and therefore doesn't need to go as often as Chris. Now I am not saying it was an accident free day but it was only about 4 per boy. So I think that is great! We will try again tomorrow!
