Cagle's Farm

To finish up letters E and F week, we headed to Cagle's Farm about an hour north of us. This was our first time visiting a real working farm.

The boys enjoyed watching the animals and feeding some of them corn husks.

I forgot the name of this odd bird but it was the overseer of all the animals. It was not in a cage and walked around watching the rest of the animals.

Chris feeding the rooster.

James finally began to feed the ducks. They were a bit snippy!

Huge turkey!

Oink, oink!

Waiting for Rosie to come out.

Rosie eating her grain while being milked.

They say sheep being herded into their cage by a dog.

Seeing the goats is what James wanted to do the whole time. He said, "They have soft teeth." He only felt their lips!
