Week 2 Part 2- D Week- Last week in May

To finish up our "C and D " week, we met one of my friends from my multiples club and her sons at a (new to us) playground and fed the ducks! James didn't like feeding them he was afraid they might bite him. Honestly, I am surprised we were not bit, they we aggressive little ducks and geese.

James did learn to just throw the bread down then the ducks ate it by his feet. Chris was holding it up expecting them to fly up and get it!

This is truly what he enjoyed most about feeding the ducks. James spent a lot of time just watching them.

Our first at home "D" activity, besides reading dinosaur books, was making dinosaur prints. They gathered their dinosaur toys and then painted the feet and make tracks with them on paper. James really got into it.

Then we took a bingo ink stamper and made dots on our D's while making the "D" sound.

On Thursday, May 31st, I took them to a Mommy and Me Program in Kennesaw. The program was about carnivals (another C word!) After they did the program, they got to play carnival style games in the room then they had their face painted. Can you tell what it is? I didn't tell them to choose this, I promise!

If you haven't figured it out yet, they both got dinosaurs on their cheeks.

As we left they wanted to walk through the red caboose (another C word!). Truly LOVE going to this program.
