We headed to the zoo the next week to look for animals that start with any letter we have studied. The boys really enjoy walking around the zoo.

| We had to come back to the elephants before we left to see if they were out. When we did, we saw this elephant drinking from the pond. The boys enjoyed watching it spray itself off at the end, it was getting hot! |

| For letter I, we made homemade ice cream in ziplock bags. They had to shake the bag for 5 minutes, needless to say Minh and I shook for the majority of that time. They thought it was yummy! |

For letter J, we wrote "J's" on the Magna-Doodles. James really wanted to write his name so we practice that a lot. We also read several books with J in the title or character.
