What a month.... illness times 4 people, 2 ear infections, tubes for one, name change and talking...
Where to begin....
We all caught that horrid flu virus this month. James brought it into the family on a Thursday and then rest of us woke up with it on Sunday morning. Thank heavens my parents didn't get it as they were our life lines during that time.
Two more sinus and ear infections which lead us to have James' tubes put in. That went beautifully and he is talking a bit more clearer now. I can't say his volume level has decreased as all if any because he still loves to walk into the garage and scream at the top of his lungs for the echo effect!
When James was having his tubes put in, we shipped Chris off to my parents for the night before and day of. When he came home he had changed Gramps' name to Pops (pronounced Bops at times). He now will say "Bops" right after he says MeMe, so I guess it's a permanent thing? James says it too. Dramma is our next family name, they can say it but not that clearly at times.
While enjoying this wonderful spring like weather here in ATL (65-70 degrees) this weekend the boys spent lots of time outside. While on the back deck, I kept hearing James mumble the same words then start dancing. It took me a moment but he was saying "Ready, Set, Go, Dance" then he would dance around! It was so funny. Minh and I just watched and laughed. James thought he was pretty funny too!
I can't believe in 2 more months they will be two years old...... I love my 'baby' boys......
