Today is my birthday and the boys helped me celebrate. They tried to sing "Happy Birthday" to me but they need more practice let's just say!
My family came over for dinner and they cooked while the boys played outside on the deck and of course we had to wash our hands first before dinner.
Chris can now climb up and turn the hot water on by himself.
Then we prayed... James loves saying "AMEN" and he gets excited because he knows it is now time to eat.
James loved MeMe's lima beans and Chris ate all the broccoli. The steak that Minh cooked was perfect. Then they had to wait for the dessert so they gave kisses to all.
They spot the candle on the cupcake and they were happy campers again!
We were surprised to see the James actually ate the cupcake and ice cream because, in the past, he has always said ice cream was "cold" and would not eat it. He usually doesn't eat cake or icing either.
Chris, on the other hand, is MY CHILD! He devoured the cupcake and ice cream.
Notice Chris' plate is empty but not everyone is.....
Thus begins... do I share or do I not..... look as Chris' eyes... sly little one!
Chris opens his mouth wanting a bite and James looks in the mouth and laughs!
James is pushing Chris away!
James has decided to share... ahh nice brother...
I hope to upload the tube video of this "sharing" very soon.
Then the boys helped me open the gifts.
It was a wonderful birthday. I am very blessed!
