The boys are now 3 years and one month old. In the past month they have had many "firsts."
They can go to the bathroom (both numbers) by themselves at home! Woo hoo! No more Mommy stopping what I am doing to go hang out in the bathroom. They are taking off their shirts and shorts and putting their undies and shorts on by themselves. We still need to work on putting the shirts on. They can put their Crocs on by themselves. These little guys are getting so independent!
Since their birthday, they have loved pirates, Peter Pan, Captain Hook, etc.. Daily we are all given new roles to play in the house or outside in the play set formally know as the Jolly Roger. I am usually Wendy. The funny thing is EVERYDAY and I mean EVERYDAY for the past month, when Minh has been leaving for work, James will say, "Good-bye Peter Pan" and Minh has to reply (or else he is corrected) "Good-bye Tinkerbell." Then James changes his "personality" to Captain (James) Hook for most of the day. Chris is usually Smee or Captain Stinky (not of the Peter Pan story!). I bet Minh never would have guessed that he would be calling one of his boys Tinkerbell! Silly boys!
