I decided a few weeks ago to divide our summer into fun and learning. So I planned out the learning part and will be throwing in the fun as we go along. This week we worked on things that started with the letters A and B. We made alligators with the capital A, made homemade applesauce, painted birdhouses (Thanks Dramma), and made bird feeders out of milk cartons, made banana bread muffins, read books about bugs, painted with plastic bugs, etc.. We also had 2 play dates, saw a puppet show, and went to a Kiddie Garden session to look for ants. Busy week!

| Painting in our undies was much more fun! |
| The serious painter, Chris |
| Eating a popsicle while running in the Thomas sprinkler! |
| We went to the Center for Puppetry Arts to see Peter Pan. It was fabulous. Afterwards we walked through the Jim Henson exhibit. They boys liked spying the Muppets they knew. They also made a crocodile puppet. |

| Needless to say this served as the "fun" for this week. They have been playing Captain Hook and Smee all week. We will have to do this again. |
