Week 8: O and P

We made octopus O's.

We attended our first Mice Tours program on the Marietta Square. They played I Spy to find answers to the riddles. Very cute program. We will be going again in the future.

We parked near this train so of course we had to get a picture. A real train came by while we were there too.

To finish up the letter O work, we went to Daddy's office to pick him up for lunch after the program. The boys don't go there often so they were a special treat for some of his co-workers. The boys loved all their "toys" around the office.

For the letter P, we were just going to paint but Mr Ed and Mrs Teresa, MeMe and Dramma's neighbors, gave this easel to the boys. Their granddaughter did not use it any more and the boys have LOVED it! We had to buy a new roll of paper already! Thank you Mr Ed and Mrs Teresa.

This was James' first painting on the easel- he called it seaweed in the ocean with broccoli. The broccoli came later in the painting process.

The funny thing about this is every time they paint something they want you to see it but you have to "stand back" to see the whole picture. Where do they get this from?

Chris just had fun mixing red and yellow to try to make orange, his favorite color! He then called it a volcano of fire.

I also made pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes for their breakfast that week. They actually loved them!
