1st Race

Ever since my run on Thanksgiving Day, the boys have been wanting to run a race. I chose the Marietta Mardi Gras race last Saturday so that Minh could let them play on the Square while I completed my 5K. Afterwards they participated in the Tot Trot.

This is me finishing. I am in a blue top and black pants. I finished 30 seconds faster than my last 5k last month.

They won! Or at least that is what they said! They got a purple ribbon and the (way to big) shirts. James wants to do a "bigger race" next time. Chris hasn't mentioned it yet! Fun family morning. Afterwards we went to Dunkin Donuts to celebrate! Yes, we know, we are great parents!
