Mardi Gras

The boys' teacher is from New Orleans and they celebrated Mardi Gras at school. They wore their Race t-shirts (see previous post) and some beads. They came home with these masks and head bands. They paraded around the school and learned a bit about the event. I really hope this is as close as they get to a Mardi Gras parade in my lifetime!
