August in a Nutshell

Yet again another summer month has flown by.. Here is our August in a nutshell..
The boys at Rumplestilskin at Center for Puppetry Arts.

Minh & I had a weekend away right after James recovered from his tonsil and adenoid removal. We brought the boys the quackers from the Duck Boat.

It was hot day and we had only one week until I started school back so we packed in everything that was on our summer to-do list. We played putt-putt at Mountasia.

We went to the zoo...

with our buddies the Kauffmans and the rain didn't even slow us down!

The birds were finally starving and ate the seed from the sticks.

Happy Birthday to Minh!

The "best" present was from the boys, Beef Jerky!

James and I have been taking allergy shots since the beginning of July. He has cried every time. Mr  Josh is the appointment gentlemen and he is so kids and tries to help the situation. Once day we went to get shots and Mr Josh comes out to get James in his superhero costume. James was so surprised that he forgot to cry and he closed his eyes. The WHOLE staff celebrated with us! Mr Josh is our hero!

What James does now while getting his shots. No crying!

Our Planes project from Lowe's.

Skating fun at Sparkles!

More shots with no tears!

Having fun at the Children's Museum

James was chosen to come up on stage to participate in the show.

You were excited to go to PreK 4 orientation.

Before the first real day of school. Chris has Mrs Vickers and James has Mrs LaFalce.

Riding a pig at a Kennesaw festival

A teacher at our school takes great pictures and here are the boys' 4 year old shots.

James and Daddy became creative with boxes and designed a knight helmet.

The back

Chris invented a trap box to keep all this stuff in.

The whole outfit! Knight James

Our 4 yr old Notre Dame fans with Daddy before the first game of the season.
